Paserene Elements Midnight 2022 is a dark, expressive red wine that captures the depth and intensity of Tulbagh’s terroir.

Bold black fruit, earthy minerality, warm spice, and smoky oak come together in a wine that feels rich, smooth, and beautifully balanced. With supple tannins and a long, lingering finish, Midnight is made for those who enjoy red wines with presence, depth, and elegance.
Aromatics

Black cherry, cassis, liquorice, woodsmoke, vanilla, toffee, subtle iodine, leather, dark berries, and a meaty mineral richness.

The nose is deep and layered, showing ripe fruit, savoury spice, smoky oak, and earthy complexity.
Winemaking

Crafted from selected grapes grown on Paserene’s Tulbagh wine farm, Midnight reflects the region’s ability to produce structured, intensely aromatic red wines.

The wine was fermented and aged in seasoned, steamed oak barrels for 16 months, allowing the tannins to soften while adding subtle oak integration and depth.

It was bottled with minimal intervention to preserve its rich, natural expression and authentic sense of place.
